Reverend Professor Andrew Gosler

Professor of Ethno-ornithology at the University of Oxford

Holds a joint position in the Department of Biology and the School of Anthropology and Museum Ethnography, where he leads the Institute of Human Sciences. A priest in the Church of England, his research explores the human condition through the lens of bird ecology, evolution, and conservation. He is the Research Director of the Ethno-ornithology World Atlas and a Fellow at Mansfield College, Oxford.

Professor Willem Marie Speelman

Professor Franciscan Spirituality at Tilburg School of Catholic Theology.

Becoming a professor in 2021. He is devoted to the relevance of Franciscan Spirituality for present day global problems, and his mission is to introduce the scientific world to a different, complementary way to look at our reality.

Daniel Gerard Knought

Daniel Gerard Knought was selected to study at St Augustine’s College and Oxford University. He started out in credit insurance in London before leading pre-acquisition assessments and organisational design in a professional services group. Experienced across UK, Europe and the Middle East. Daniel now also leads investor relations and client engagement with Guild Capital Partners

Ben Borrego

Ben is a confident professional with a proven record in high-pressure retail operations and leadership. Currently he is Operations Director for 12 corporate deilcatessens in London, building lasting client relationships and leading teams. Ben has previously excelled as a top-performing Regional Sales Manager, overseeing 36 staff and driving market growth. Ben's career foundation is in account management and digital content, consistently exceeding targets from retail to finance. He thrives on challenge and is dedicated to training, coaching, and delivering exceptional service.

Uttam Mishra

AI & machine learning, Oxford university. Statistics and computer science K.C. College Mumbai. A tech leader and co-founder with over 20 years of expertise in the software industry, worked with various tech professional service organisations. In his current role, he is widely involved in setting-up and growing technology teams, designing, implementing and delivering intelligent automation solutions using AI, cloud and mobile technologies.

He is a technology enthusiast, focussing on bridging the gap between business and IT, growing technology teams and delivering transformational technology solutions.

DeAnna Forbes-Sanchez

DeAnna is a Creative marketing manager with 13 years of valuable experience in various marketing areas, including Saas, social media. With a focus on creative strategy, target

audience creation, and project management. With a diverse skill set focused on target audience growth and user experience optimisation.

Adam Roberts

A dynamic and results-driven Project Manager with over twenty years of experience leading complex, large-scale projects across environmental, technical, and infrastructure sectors. Proven expertise in coordinating multisite operations from conception through to completion, ensuring adherence to budget, schedule, quality, and safety standards. Adept at managing cross-functional teams, client relationships, and supply chains to deliver integrated solutions in forestry, landscaping, groundwork, M&E, and property services.

Welcome to our 'Thought Leadership Programme', where some of the best thinkers of our time will come together to challenge the current status quo within our society at both an individual and corporate level. They will champion and highlight the work of The Living Experiment as a force for change and sustainable planetary health. We will explore Franciscan economics, a framework that values sufficiency, equality, and reverence for our earth. This is more than theory, it's a call to lead with purpose and responsibility, through shared inquiry and mentorship.

We are please to announce that Professor Martyn Percy will guide and build the Thought Leadership programme for the Society. This is very exciting and Martyn will be announcing new additions to the team on a regular basis.

Professor Martyn William Percy

Professor Martyn William Percy is a British academic, theologian, and former Church of England priest who left the Church in 2022 but remains Episcopalian-Anglican.

He was Dean of Christ Church, Oxford (2014–2022), and principal of Ripon College Cuddesdon (2004–2014).

He taught theology, sociology, and was a fellow at Oxford’s Said Business School. Martyn has also held professorial roles at King’s College London, Heythrop College, and several international institutions.
